Mr. Van Straten started at Bentley World Packaging in January 2014.  For the past 5 years he was CEO and President at Dutchland Plastics in Oostburg, WI. Previously he has worked for various companies in an executive, financial or consultative capacity. Most recently at Dutchland Plastics his role evolved from financial consultant to being hired as CFO and then named CEO and President in 2009.

Under Jeff’s leadership Dutchland navigated its way through the 2008-2009 recession and then rebuilt the company infrastructure including….

• Sales Growth: rebuilt the top line by 100% from 2009
• Cost reduction and cash management efforts with plant consolidation, inventory reductions and AR collections
• Technology and productivity gains using lean principles and the company’s first ERP system
• Innovation: successfully landed consulting contracts based on intellectual capital

Mr. Van Straten spent over 16 years in the airline and transportation business at Northwest Airlines (now Delta Airlines), America West Airlines (now US Airways), La Macchia Enterprises (Mark Travel and Funjet Vacations) as well a several years at Schneider National and M&I Bank.    Most of his career, Jeff has focused on continuous improvement with a customer-driven culture.

Jeff is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and received his MBA from Northeast University in Boston. Jeff and his wife, Kathy have three children and reside in Cedarburg, WI.
